Gated Neighborhoods

Gated Communities

Nine neighborhoods within The Village at Vistancia are classified as benefited, or gated, parcel. Residents in these neighborhoods pay additional assessments to maintain amenities specific to their neighborhood. These assessments fund operating and reserve budgets used to pay for gate maintenance, road repairs and street sweeping, among other expenses. These funds are managed by the Vistancia Village A Community Association Board of Directors.

Gate Transponders

Gates operate on an electronic transponder system. Homeowners who purchase a home from a builder receive two complimentary transponder remotes. For resale homes, transponders should be passed between owners during the sales process. Additional or replacement transponders are available to purchase for $35 at the Association Office.

In addition to transponder remotes, residents can establish personal codes to be used for gate entry. The Association provides monthly codes to be used by outside contractors or vendors who need access to a resident’s property.

Pedestrian Gates

Each gated neighborhood has pedestrian gates along walking paths for access to the community. Keys for the pedestrian gates are available at the Association Office.
